Reading Room

The Reading Room at AADI is a virtual reading club hosted on Zoom in time of social distancing. It is Sahar Ali’s brainchild. An avid reader, a prolific writer and a professional journalist, Sahar Ali has continuously made sound literary decisions for AADI’s presence in the world of South Asian literature. Unmarriageable by Soniah Kamal

A delightful read (Unmarriageable - Pride and Prejudice in Pakistan) and it’s articulate author (Soniah Kamal) hosted by AADI to chat about the book, and how translatable and relatable Jane Austen is to modern-day Pakistan. AADI would like to thank Soniah Kamal for giving us the the gift of her company, and Maheen Baqai for hosting her in Austin and bringing her over. Our followers are readers! Way to go!
